Tom Holland went live on his official Instagram account in an attempt to fight boredom and ended up chatting with a young fan. The conversation started shortly after Holland revealed his favorite moment from Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Holland is currently filming the Uncharted feature film adaptation in which he portrays a young Nathan Drake. With time to spare on his day off from filming, Holland returned to the social media site and apologized for not posting a video lately, noting that he prefers his content to be of high quality.

During the broadcast, a fan asks to go live with Holland and despite some initial confusion about how to accept the request, the actor ends up having a conversation with a young fan from England named Chloe. While Chloe appears to be stunned to be conversing with Holland at first, the two end up discussing the latter's unsuccessful attempts at learning Spanish after Chloe explains that she is studying the language as part of her homework. After admitting that he did not do so well with his own GCC's, Holland lets Chloe resume her homework before advising her to study hard and wishing her luck with her exams.

The adorable conversation occurred just after Tom Holland revealed that his favorite moment from Spider-Man: Homecoming is the scene in which Ned Leeds discovers Peter Parker's secret. As Holland explained, the scene is his favorite moment because it was uncomfortable to film, took months of work to plan out, and it was all accomplished in one shot. The Spider-Man star added that the summer he spent filming Homecoming might be the best one of his life.

Fans waiting to see Holland don the Spider-Man suit again will have to hold out for a little longer than anticipated. While Marvel Studios' third Spider-Man film was initially scheduled to be released in theaters on July 16, 2021, the project was delayed to November 2021 and then again to December of the same year due to Sony's scheduling adjustments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fortunately, Holland's latest video should be enough to satisfy fans craving wholesome content during these trying times. If nothing else, there may be some comfort in knowing Holland is just as nice to his fans as the friendly neighborhood comic book hero he portrays. Or at least that he has as much trouble working Instagram as anyone else.

Marvel Studios' third Spider-Man film is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 17, 2021.
