The still-unnamed Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel has been pushed back by Sony and Disney again. But while the first way was significant, the latest Spider-Man 3 release date delay is only a month.

The exact reasons why the film received a delay weren't detailed, but it's a fairly easy guess. The last delay happened because of the current pandemic and Tom Holland's decision to work on Uncharted before Spider-Man 3. As it stands now, the pandemic hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, and production on Uncharted starts soon.

Instead of premiering on November 5, 2021, the MCU's third Spider-Man installment will premiere on December 17, 2021. This date only applies to the domestic release, however, so it's still up in the air on how Sony and Disney will handle the international launch of the film.

Spider-Man

This is the second time that Spider-Man 3 has been delayed altogether. Originally, the movie was set to come out on July 16, 2021, but ended up getting pushed back to November 5. The coronavirus pandemic has only gotten worse in the US, and theaters haven't been able to open because of it, so at this rate, the film may end up getting delayed again.
