Sperasoft, a Keywords Studio, is set to team up with 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios to help develop Halo Infinite. The company boasts over 16 years' worth of experience and specializes in co-development, having supported the development of several AAA titles.

The Sperasoft team will be contributing to Halo Infinite across "multiple development mandates," which will see them develop components for the game and work on honing the game's experience. Sperasoft's Chief Commercial Officer, Denis Larkin shared how it's an "honor" to be able to work on and contribute towards a property like Halo, which he described as "the most famous FPS series in the world." He also expressed the team's excitement at being a part of Halo's next-generation plans.

Sperasoft has previously worked on titled such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, Star Wars: Battlefront, League of Legends, Star Wars: The Old Republic to name a few. 343 Industries is the developer of the Halo video games and has been crucial in expanding the series' lore by overseeing the franchises games, original programming, novels, comic books, collectibles, apparel and more.

Halo Infinite was first announced at E3 2018. A world-premiere video showcasing the title's gameplay aired during the Xbox Games Showcase in July. The game is set to be a launch game for the eagerly-anticipated Xbox Series X when launched later this year. It is the sixth main entry in the Halo series and the fourteenth game overall and will feature free-to-play multiplayer. The game will continue the story of Master Chief, allegedly telling the third chapter of the Reclaimer Saga, following on from Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo Infinite will release Holiday 2020 on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
