Hackers have been a core problem for Call of Duty: Warzone since it debuted. As months go by, Warzone fans continue to hear discussions about anti-cheat measures, aimbots, and wallhacks. While there is still no solid solution to the cheater problem, one fan learned a fun fact about the players using said cheats.

Aimbots, wallhacks, and other cheats in Call of Duty: Warzone are designed to give a competitive edge to players. While some aimbots have insane ranges allowing players to auto-lock at ranges of up to 400 meters, others seem to have on silly weakness. This fan encountered a hacker and spectated them, but the results of this observation were unexpected.

The video starts from the spectator view of a supposed hacker. The hacker rushes forward, reloads, and seems to be on the hunt for their next potential victim. After finding their next target, they aimed carefully and gunned down a running player. Although it is obvious that an aimbot auto-locked onto the Warzone player, once they were downed it seemed to unlock relying on the hacker's natural aim to finish the job. Simply put, they unloaded close to 25 rounds with only a few hits to be counted. Meleeing out of frustration, they retreated to reload and prepare for the oncoming squad. Although their aimbot seemed to be functioning once again, auto-locking on enemy players, it was not enough to save the hacker from a well-placed sniper round and an instant elimination.

While hackers are a most-hated part of the Warzone experience, some fans take comfort knowing that without the cheats many of the hackers perform badly. The hacker's aim dramatically dropped in the clip after the player was gunned down. Most average Warzone players would be able to finish off a downed player, the fact that the hacker couldn't is absolutely mind-blowing to many fans.

Although hackers are a prominent problem, it is not often that fans think about why they are hacking. In many cases, hackers are employing aimbots and wallhacks as a way to balance the game as some are inherently unable to compete even at a high level. While many hackers simply do it for the kicks, others believe that they need the hacks to perform well in a match.

Many fans count this problem towards the SBMM, or Skill-Based Matchmaking, that is currently functioning in the game. Players get paired into tougher and tougher lobbies, which can easily cause burnout and ruin a casual gaming experience for many players.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, Ps4 and Xbox One.
