Ubisoft is scouring the globe for unique “talent” to be added to its upcoming game South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The company has announced the I Am The Fart contest that gives fans an opportunity to have their fart featured in the game.
The contest was announced through a parody trailer that spoofs the popular music competition show, The Voice. Those who think their flatulence is fabulous enough to make it to the top can submit a video of themselves being loud and proud. Ubisoft will pick a winner and fly them to its headquarters in San Francisco, where they will record a fart that will forever be a part of South Park history. This first class gas will be the official fart of South Park: The Fractured But Whole and can be heard whenever the New Kid unleashes an attack from his deadly derriere.
The contest only lasts from October 2 to October 16, so act fast. Those cheeky enough to enter can submit their videos on the contest’s official page.
The featured fart will presumably be patched into the game, as South Park: The Fractured But Whole is set to launch a day after the contest ends, October 17. Thankfully, because the game has gone gold, this is the final release date, and it will suffer no more delays. Development officially finished two weeks ago and was announced with a trailer that showcases a Flappy Bird-type mini-game featuring a unicorn that farts rainbows. Noticing a theme here?
Anyone who plans to play South Park: The Fractured But Whole knows exactly the type of experience they’re getting. The game’s raunchy, over-the-top brand of comedy is what they’re paying for, and the sequel appears to be pushing even more boundaries. Recently, the game’s associate producer recently confirmed that it will be uncensored worldwide. So no matter where a player is located, they will experience the same content with absolutely no filter.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is scheduled to release on October 17, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
