With South Park: The Fractured but Whole now available, South Park fans across the world have been able to jump into an uncensored adventure. However, with such a popular property there was always going to be unique merchandising opportunities, with one particularly out-there choice being a South Park fart pillow featuring everyone's favorite kid super hero, The Coon.

To coincide with the release of South Park: The Fractured but Whole, a whoopee cushion has been released. Currently available from Ubisoft, as well as from GameStop for $19.99, this cushion comes in at 14" by 14", complete with two alternating pressure-activated fart sound effects and a soft boa plush applique.

"Place it on your couch and watch your friends’ and family’s reactions as they unknowingly sit and activate the fart sounds," says Ubisoft of this rather left field choice of merchandise. Although this fart pillow isn't the most highbrow of purchase options, given that it comes from South Park it's actually relatively tame in comparison to some of the franchise's jokes.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole was, for many, one of the most anticipated games of the year, with gamers hoping that the game would live up to the surprise success of the fantasy-themed South Park: The Stick of Truth. Thankfully, the title has managed to impress those fans who have picked it up early, and has also been getting some strong reviews for its send-ups of video game tropes and the worlds of super hero comics and movies.

In the game, the player once again takes on the role of The New Kid, shifting from a Dungeons & Dragons-esque epic into something that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will find familiar. Here, Coon and Friends face a conspiracy to uncover, all the while trying to pull together enough reward money to get their own film and TV franchises off the ground.

Of course, should the Coon and Friends IP take off in South Park, Cartman and the gang would certainly have plenty of merch opportunities of their own. Whether they would choose to go down the fart pillow route, however, is somewhat up for debate. Either way, fans of the show or the game can get their hands on one in real life, for better or worse.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
