Movement is essential in Soulstone Survivors; players must be able to weave through crowds of enemies and take as little damage as possible in the process. Bloodlust is a skill that increases the movement speed of the player's character by twenty percent in addition to raising cast frequency by forty percent; players can move around the battlefield and cast more spells, often for a total of ten seconds, which is a game-changing boost in more difficult tiers. Bloodlust has a cooldown of thirty seconds and is available to all characters.

5 Chain Lightning

The initial bolt deals one-hundred-and-sixty damage while applying a percentage of the stunning effect; in addition, this skill travels to up to five additional targets dealing damage as well. The threat range increase, paired with the crowd control effects, makes chain lighting a very useful tool in-game. Chain Lightning has a cooldown of seven seconds, making it a decent recast ability.

4 Flame Wave

Flame Wave is incredibly useful as a wide-ranged AOE attack that can clear the map when in a pinch or continue to keep the numbers down with a hit-and-run play style. When casting the spell, Flame Wave emits a large burst of fire damage that deals one-hundred-and-fifty damage to in-range foes and applies a magical effect of burn tick damage every second for eight seconds, totaling eight hundred damage overall.

Flame Wave also stuns targets for up to two seconds which gives the burn damage time to take effect. This ability is excellent for finishing off pre-damaged lower-ranked enemies and mobs.

Blizzard also applies the slow effect, which reduces enemy movement speed; this will significantly aid players in survivability as the effect stacks with every strike. Blizzard has a cooldown of seven seconds, so it can be used repeatedly to slow enemy advance to a halt and control the pace of the fight when a boss has appeared.

2 Meteor Shower

1 Poison Cloud

Continuing with area of effect skills, Poison Cloud will serve players well as they slowly drain the life from all affected enemies in a large space. The player's character throws a toxic bomb, and it explodes, dealing forty damage to targets caught in the blast. Enemies are instantly poisoned and begin to take tick damage for fifteen seconds; the total damage dealt adds up to a whopping five-hundred damage.

What makes Poison Cloud an excellent skill is its short cooldown, which only takes three seconds. Poison cloud is an exceptional skill and can work well with many different play styles, from run and gun to Battlemage. Stacking tick damage can completely wipe a map and turn enemies into fodder when utilized correctly, so players should study their builds carefully.
