As many fighting game fans would likely agree, Soulcalibur 6 managed to be one of the best multiplayer games of 2018 thanks to its fun fighting mechanics, solid roster, and its in-depth character creation system. Speaking of which, one player has decided that the cast of characters stood to have one of Saban Entertainment's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on-hand, so they took the time to make the White Power Ranger.
Thanks to the highly detailed and dedicated modding work of the DeviantArt user known simply as "monkeygigabuster", Soulcalibur 6 fans can get a look at Tommy Oliver, AKA the White Ranger, fittingly doing battle against Grøh, AKA The Agent in Black. Not only is the White Ranger donning his tiger-inspired helmet and black and golden shield armor, but also he wields his iconic talking saber dubbed Saba. Of course, with the White Ranger being an unofficial character, his move set is based on another sword-wielder, which appears to be Mitsurugi in this case.
For those unaware, the White Power Ranger is far from the first crossover fighter to make their way into Soulcalibur 6 by way of the game's incredibly extensive character creation system. As a matter of fact, fans have spent tons of time using feature's robust tools to the generate such characters as an anthropomorphic Sonic the Hedgehog, Marge Simpson, and even the non-canon Nintendo character Bowsette.
Taking everything here into account, there's no doubt that monkeygigabuster's version of the White Power Ranger for Soulcalibur 6 is impressive, and it will likely inspire other players to try their hand at making the rest of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers for themselves. After all, fans' adoration for the Saban Entertainment IP has already spurred someone to create a brief Unreal Engine demo centering around one of the characters from the franchise, so it's not a far cry to imagine even more Power Rangers getting made in Soulcalibur 6.
Soulcalibur 6 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
