While the Soulcalibur series has its fair share of popular homegrown fighters, there's also a tradition of including platform-exclusive guest characters. No guest characters have been announced for the upcoming Soulcalibur 6 just yet, but new rumors may have prematurely revealed which guest fighters will be making their way to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game.

A user on 4chan posted what is said to be the full roster list of Soulcalibur 6, including the console-exclusive guest fighters. According to the post, the Hunter from Bloodborne will be the PS4-exclusive fighter, whereas Killer Instinct's Jago will appear in the Xbox One and PC versions of the game. The post also points to a Nintendo Switch version of the game that will apparently be announced at E3, and claims that Lucina from Fire Emblem will be the Switch-exclusive fighter.

With this information stemming from a post on 4chan, fans should take this supposed "leak" with a massive grain of salt. That being said, the post seems to have a little more credibility now, as two of the fighters it claimed to be the on the roster have now been confirmed to be a part of the final game.

Since the 4chan post, Bandai Namco has confirmed that the fighters Ivy and Zasalamel will be part of the roster. These two characters were included in the 4chan list almost a month before they were officially confirmed by Bandai Namco, which could be an indication that the post should be taken a little more seriously.

The post also claims that the game will introduce seven newcomers, including the previously-revealed new fighter Groh. Between new and returning fighters, Soulcalibur 6 is said to be launching with a roster of 30 playable characters once it launches later this year.

While this month-old 4Chan post is now easier to believe than it was when originally posted, fans should still take the information with a grain of salt. Until Bandai Namco itself reveals the full roster, anyone hoping to see Bloodborne's Hunter and Killer Instinct's Jago mix it up with Soulcalibur characters in Soulcalibur 6 should keep their expectations in check.

Soulcalibur 6 will launch in 2018 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
