Demons are a big part of Soul Hackers 2, giving characters access to specific skills and abilities, while also increasing the power of Ringo's Sabbath attack. Players will want to spend as much time as they can recruiting new Demons that they find in various locations, while also building as much favor with them as possible. The more that players level a specific Demon companion, the more skills they'll have access to, and the stronger the particular Demon will become. Players will be able to Recruit (and purchase copies of any recruited) Demons by providing various offerings (usually Yen).

As they progress through the game, players will also unlock the ability to Fuse Demons. By fusing two Demons together, players can unlock a stronger form (one that they would usually be able to recruit later on, but perhaps at an earlier time). They will also be able to gift these new fusions with additional skills, should they meet the correct parameters. Here's an in-depth look at how to Fuse Demons and some of the best Demon fusions available in Soul Hackers 2.

How To Fuse Demons

Players won't immediately be able to fuse Demons, and they'll have to progress the storyline quite a bit before they unlock the ability. Once they're able to, players can see a list of available Demon fusions by opening the appropriate menu at Cirque du Goumaden. Fusing Demons is completely free, and won't cost players any Yen or materials to do so. The only stipulation is that players will need to have the appropriate Demons to fuse for a particular recipe. Once players have both Demons in hand, it's simply as easy as selecting the Demon they wish to create and confirming the selection.

Although unlocking stronger Demons can be a reward on its own, the real bread and butter for fusing Demons comes from gaining the maximum amount of loyalty from the fusion material creatures before fusing them. Demons that have achieved this state will have a special red icon to the left of their name when viewed in the Demon menu. If players use a Demon that has this symbol in a fusion recipe, they will be able to award the newly created Demon with any of the fusion materials' available skills and abilities. If players fuse two Demons that both have the symbol in a given recipe, they will have access to both of their skills when creating the new Demon form. This allows players to mix and match skills and abilities from multiple Demons, custom tailoring their own Skill sets that adhere to their play style.
