Not too long ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment officially confirmed that yet another familiar face is returning in Soul Calibur 6, as the publisher and developer revealed the blind, hand-blade wielding warrior Voldo in gameplay video. Now, it appears as if even more previously included figures in the long-running fighting game franchise will be coming back for the sequel, as Bandai Namco has now released a new trailer revealing both Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na for the sixth installment of the series.

As seen below in the latest trailer for Soul Calibur 6, the first half of the clip is dedicated to Astaroth making quick work of several different opponents after unleashing some devastatingly powerful combos with the help of his giant axe. The latter portion of the video focuses on Seong Mi-Na, as she wields her longsword staff hybrid Scarlet Thunder with authority against the likes of Ivy, Taki, Sophitia, and more.

As previously intimated, Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na's inclusion in the roster of Soul Calibur 6 will see the two fighters make their return alongside a bevy of different characters from the series making a comeback in the latest entry. As a matter of fact, it seems as if the only two figures that are actually new to the property so far are Groh, and the guest star Geralt of Rivia from CD Projekt Red's The Witcher franchise.

Taking all of this into account, it will be interesting to see if Bandai Namco plans on introducing any more new characters for Soul Calibur 6, or if the publisher and developer will choose to keep the majority of the roster stocked with those who have already shown up in the series. At any rate, we will simply have to wait and see who else could be joining the stage of history as the weeks and months move closer toward the SC6's release date.

Soul Calibur 6 is currently set to launch at some point in fall 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
