One of the biggest and most successful TV dramas of all time, The Sopranos on HBO ended with its infamous black screen 13 years ago. Even though the show is over, however, the cast isn't done getting together. Series creator David Chase and several members of the cast will be reuniting for the first time since the show's 20th anniversary in order to raise money for charity. They will be raising money for Friends of Firefighters, a non-profit charity dedicated to supporting FDNY firefighters and their families that was founded in the aftermath of 9/11.

Although the star of the show, James Gandolfini, unfortunately passed away in 2013, quite a few other big names from the show are coming to the event. The current list of attendees is Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Robert Iler, Michael Imperioli, Drea de Matteo, Steven Van Zandt, Maureen Van Zandt, Steve Buscemi, Lorraine Bracco, Vincent Pastore, Tim Van Patten and Steve Schirripa. Of course, the get-together also comes just before the release of The Many Saints of Newark, a prequel film set in the same continuity as the original show. The film is set to release March 12, 2021, assuming there are no further delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Steve Buscemi, who played the cousin of Tony Soprano for a season of the original show, gave a statement about the charity recently: "This has been a very difficult time for everyone, but especially for our first responders. Friends of Firefighters is a crucial support service for our firefighters and I’m looking forward to reuniting with my friends to help raise some awareness and funds for this wonderful organization." Buscemi has long been an advocate and volunteer for firefighters in New York, famously having been a volunteer first responder during the 9/11 attacks.

Powered by Tiltify, this live two-hour event is not to be missed!
