Another Thursday, another update to the Sony PlayStation Store, and another Game Rant Weekly Update.
Momentum is starting to gather in the highly anticipated Q1 bonanza of titles that were pushed into 2010, but overall this week is relatively quiet, that is to say with one exception - Army of Two: The 40th Day.
Army of Two: The 40th Day is set to drop on both the PS3 and PSP as either a third-person shooter or top-down shooter respectively. Though very different, both versions possess deep weapon customization and upgrade systems as well as co-op gameplay.
Retro side-scroller Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond arrives on the PSN this week as well as the demo for EA's upcoming Dark Void which you can purchase next week on retail shelves.
Also of note, is the "Borderlands: The Underdome DLC" which allows players to engage in co-operative horde-mode style gameplay. Like Borderlands itself, "The Underdome DLC" provides an exciting and intense online multiplayer experience - though, take it from us, make sure you've leveled up before tackling this one solo.

Army of Two: The 40th Day (PS3 & PSP)
PS3 - Army of Two: The 40th Day is a third-person shooter based in groundbreaking cooperative gameplay functionality. Sequel to the 2008 game of the same name, and featuring series heroes, Rios and Salem, in this new iteration players have a bigger playbook of features and a new arsenal of co-op moves that either player can perform at any time, opening up fresh strategies in the face of overwhelming odds. In addition, the game features advanced weapon customization and upgrade systems, as well as four explosive online multiplayer modes, each focused on unique cooperative play.
PSP - Army of Two: The 40th Day for PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a top-down shooter based in cooperative gameplay. The first Army of Two game for PSP, it features series heroes, Rios and Salem, and and arsenal of co-op moves designed to open up strategies in the face of overwhelming odds. In addition, the game features weapon customization and upgrade systems, as well as online two-player cooperative play.
Vancouver 2010: The Official Videogame of the Winter Olympic Games (PS3)
Vancouver 2010 is an authentic simulation of a host of events from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, focusing on the adrenalin rush that comes from the extreme speed of winter sports.
