Earlier this week Microsoft revealed launch dates for both the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S. The series X will launch at $499 USD while the digital only Xbox Series S will launch at $299 USD. The announcement followed a report on the Xbox Series S, revealing the look, specs, and cost of the upcoming console. Both the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S launch on November 10.

Many fans believe the PlayStation 5 will launch mid-November as a Reddit user spotted an Amazon UK listing of PlayStation 5 wall mounts, available on November 19. While not corroborated by Sony, it could be an indication of the console's official release date as its a week away from the major retail event, Black Friday.

Unofficial pre-orders for gold-plated versions of the PlayStation 5 by Truly Exquisite will begin on September 10 and several listings have the console at absurd prices. There is a gold edition and rose gold edition of the console, which start at £7,999 and £8,099 respectively. While listings of launch consoles always end up being higher than normal due to the high demand, it may be best to wait it out to see what Sony officially states regarding the official pre-order and launch dates of the upcoming console .
