A week before the game’s official launch, Sonic Frontiers has been leaked by multiple sources onto social media. While the game’s perception earlier in June was either cautious or worried, new trailers, gameplay footage, and impressions have flipped this perspective. While there are still some who are worried about the game's overall content, there are just as many if not more fans who are now anxiously anticipating the release of Sonic Frontiers. However, gamers will need to be cautious as videos of the game have already leaked online.

These leaks have already been posted across both Twitter and YouTube. Some fans who have obtained these early copies have already been streaming the game on Twitch before its launch as well. Either through early copies or broken street dates, the game’s contents have been revealed. This includes Sonic Frontiers’ music, story spoilers, cutscenes, and so much more.

As of this writing, there are several YouTube channels and Twitter users that have posted clean and high-definition videos of the game across social media, which includes various cutscenes of the game as well as full-length tracks of songs like Sonic Frontiers’ main theme and I’m Here from the soundtrack. With the game’s launch next week, fans are warning other fans of these accounts and videos that intend to spoil this experience. These leaks were brought to the attention of official figures within the Sonic community, which includes Katie Chrzanowski, the official social media manager for Sega of America, and even Sonic Frontiers' composer Tomoya Ohtani.

Chrzanowski expressed her excitement about the game's impending launch, stating that while she is thrilled with the palpable excitement about Sonic Frontiers before launch, she is also a little frustrated with those who are sharing these spoilers around as indicated by a meme she posted on her account. Ohtani expressed the same concerns, asking people not to share the soundtrack around as it can ruin the experience for other fans who are looking to enjoy it at their own pace.

This isn't the first time Sonic Frontiers was leaked, as many parts of the demo at industry events like Gamescom, TGS, and EGX London had revealed quite a bit before it was formally unveiled. This includes mirrored videos of some of the game's most hyped about aspects, like the Super Sonic boss fights. The game is less than a week away from launch now, so players won't need to avoid the Internet for spoilers for too long.

Sonic Frontiers will launch on November 8 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
