One of the biggest leaks of Sonic Frontiers has been posted online, with an extensive gameplay video that showcases various cutscenes and mechanics. This leak comes after the conclusion of EGX London, where Sonic Frontiers had a public demo for fans to try out. While fans were excited and came out of the demos with positive impressions, there are plenty of other gamers who were determined to find out more about what was hiding in the game. This led to quite possibly one of the biggest leaks of the game yet.

Sega already had issues of the game being leaked during Gamescom, where a bug was discovered that allowed players to go further than intended. Staff at various events tried to prevent filming of the kiosks. This didn't stop videos from being shared across social media, as fans discovered plenty of new mechanics and shared them with others online. This includes elements that haven't been formally revealed, such as a reference to the Sonic movies, and a bunch of new cyberspace levels. This leak is no exception, where parts of the first fifth of the game were recorded and shared online.

The contents of this since-deleted leaked video were uploaded by a YouTuber named Acro, with their video covering at least fifteen minutes of the game. This includes the opening cutscenes of Sonic Frontiers, including how Dr. Eggman discovers the Starfall Islands, along with how Sonic, Tails, and Amy Rose get sucked into the wormhole that leads to them ending up in cyberspace. This video also included seven different Cyberspace Levels in Sonic Frontiers, some of which haven't been properly revealed yet.

Super Sonic Sonic Frontiers

This gameplay video also involved the very anticipated Super Sonic vs. Titan Boss Fight. Shortly after this gameplay leak however, the original video was taken down by Sega itself via a copyright strike, though mirrors of the video and screenshots have still been shared around social media.

This has led to many fans expressing their frustration and advising others to avoid certain accounts and mirrored videos that intend to spoil the upcoming experience. That being said, this gameplay video wasn't leaked from a stolen demo, which did occur, but reportedly a beta tester of the game. This is likely why Sega has no plans for a free demo of Sonic Frontiers, as gameplay leaks like this are becoming increasingly common, especially if the demo contains most or all of the game.

Sonic Frontiers will launch on November 8 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
