How to Dodge in Sonic Frontiers
Evading
There are two types of dodge moves in Sonic Frontiers. The first one is the Evade move, which can be done by pressing the left or right bumper on the controller, but the Evade can only be done when the camera is locked on or while Sonic is airborne. This allows Sonic to avoid a devastating move from an enemy or just move around.
Players can press in on the right control stick to lock on to an enemy in Sonic Frontiers. If there's no nearby enemy, the camera will reset instead.
Cartwheel Dodge
The other type of dodge that Sonic can perform in Sonic Frontiers is the Cartwheel action, which can be done by pressing the left or right bumpers while Sonic stands still.
