Super Sonic Birthday Sale for PSN, XBLA and iTunes

Love Sonic games? Spent all your lunch money already? Well not to worry, because in celebration of the birth of one of the foremost gaming icons in history and his American debut on the Sega Genesis back in 1991, Sega of America is having a sale on all of it's downloadable Sonic the Hedgehog games and DLC.

The sales dates differ from system to system, but the prices are dropping down to the 3-5 dollar range, so it's not something you want to miss out on!

The PSN sale is the big daddy, lasting from Tuesday June 22nd to Tuesday July 6th with 13 DLC's and 3 games on sale (still $5-10 dollars more than XBLA!).

The iPhone gets some love too with 3 Sonic games and an awesome slew of classic games on sale (I'm definitely getting Streets of Rage!) from Wed June 23rd to Wed June 30th.

The short stick was given to the Xbox 360 owners as they only have one day of sales, Thursday June 24th, to rack up some great savings on all the classic Genesis Sonic's for only 3 dollars! You've only got one shot, so make sure you have some points stashed away if you want to get down on some echidna action through XBLA.

So, Game Ranters, how do you feel about the Xbox owners getting only one day as opposed to the rest? I'm gonna be picking up Sonic & Knuckles, but which Sonic game are you most excited about playing?
