At ten years old, Minecraft is still one of the most successful games in history with its popularity showing no signs of waning any time soon. With such creativity in-play, it's hardly surprising that it's experiencing nearly 140 million monthly active users and inspiring so many creative projects to boot.

With it being such a huge phenomenon, it was only inevitable that someone would combine their love of Minecraft with the enormity of the British sci-fi show Doctor who. In a recent YouTube video, a user on Reddit has showcased their skills by creating the show's TARDIS in the open world, sandbox game.

However, it needs to be said that while Doctor Who being put into Minecraft is not wholly unusual, this particular creation goes that little bit further. Rather than just building the blue pillar box and calling it a day, the creator has actually gone to the trouble of giving it the interior dimensions which are famous in the TV show. What this means is they've actually gone to the trouble of making it look bigger on the inside, presumably with some sort of teleportation system.

As a franchise, there is simply no stopping Minecraft in terms of gaming dominance. With fans being so creative and creating oodles of mods, such as the ones which makes the game feel like Dark Souls, it's no wonder Microsoft felt comfortable purchasing the game from its creator Markus 'Notch' Persson a few years back. If nothing else, the game is a sure-fired way of encouraging a lot of creativity whilst also being a huge money-spinner.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
