Each year, millions of people tune in to watch the Super Bowl, but not everyone is watching for the big game. Many people watch the Super Bowl just to see the commercials and trailers that air during the event, and this year, viewers were treated to the first teaser trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will have its first proper trailer debut on Monday, February 5, but in the meantime, fans can check out the teaser right here:

As far as teasers go, the Super Bowl teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story has quite a bit to see. The teaser gives fans a glimpse at a number of characters that promise to play a major role in the upcoming feature film, including Woody Harrelson's Beckett, who serves as Han Solo's mentor. Other characters spotted in the teaser include Emilia Clarke's Qi'Ra, Joonas Suotama's Chewbacca, Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian, and of course, Alden Ehrenreich as the titular Han Solo.

Besides giving fans a look at the various characters that will be featured in the movie, the teaser also offers some new plot details. The teaser shows Han speaking with someone who appears to be a recruiter for the Galactic Empire, and it also gives fans a look at the inside of the Millennium Falcon long before it would suffer through the wear and tear of Han and Chewie's adventures.

The teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story is currently the #2 trending video on YouTube as of the time of this writing, and is quickly becoming one of the most talked about TV spots that aired at Super Bowl 52. The teaser seems to have been met with a mostly positive response from fans so far, which is reassuring considering the supposed behind-the-scene issues and the divisive reaction to Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Overall, this teaser should be enough to tide fans over until the full trailer drops tomorrow.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will premiere on May 25.
