With the imminent release of the PlayStation 5, it appears that the console, or at least its DualSense controller, is getting into the hands of celebrities and media. The latest celebrity that may have early access to Sony's newest console is Bayern Munich and Polish international soccer player Robert Lewandowski.

Like rapper Travis Scott, Lewandowski posted a photo on his personal Instagram account depicting him holding the DualSense controller. In both cases of a celebrity potentially having the PS5 ahead of schedule, only the controller is seen with the console not in sight. Whether this is due to a Sony mandate preventing the console from being seen in these photos or if only the controller was gifted is unknown.

While Lewandowski may not be as public a gamer as his Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil counterpart Neymar (who he beat in the 2020 UEFA Champions League Final), he has made moves in the industry. Back in August, Lewandowski invested in Polish studio Movie Games to develop sports games. Though the fruits of this investment are yet to be seen, it appears that the prolific striker may score yet another goal in the process.

Lewandowski remains as consistent as ever in his job of scoring goals; the five-time Bundesliga top scorer currently has 7 goals in as many games so far this season. The 32-year-old is also the all-time top scorer for the Polish national team with 63 goals in 114 games, having scored over 500 goals for club and country.

A considerable amount of marketing for the PS5 has gone towards the capabilities of the DualSense controller. Many who have had access to the console and controller have spoken about the sensation and vibration technology, with Godfall developer Keith Lee praising the DualSense for its immersive properties.

As for the actual console itself, there has been much discussion surrounding its large size and advanced hardware. Notably, there are plans for the PS5's fan to be updated via firmware. Sony will gather data on how its newest console will deal with heat in a variety of conditions, making necessary adjustments to fan speed. Considering how past Sony consoles have suffered from overheating and loud fans, it seems as if the Japanese conglomerate has taken these criticisms on board and improved off of them.

The PlayStation 5 will release in North America and select countries on November 12 and on November 19 for the rest of the world.
