Ever since Sniper Elite 5 was released, the developers have constantly added numerous updates in order to improve the game, and the latest one is no exception. For the sake of hyping up the game’s upcoming second season, Rebellion Developments decided to reveal the content of the new season and reward players with a free DLC update.
Sniper Elite 5 is the latest installment in the critically acclaimed Sniper Elite series. The game is a tactical third-person shooter that focuses primarily on stealth and precision. Players take on the role of Karl Fairburne, a World War 2-era sniper, and must explore an expansive open-world environment and take on a variety of missions, from assassinating high-ranking Nazi officers to sabotaging enemy operations, all this while doing their best to avoid detection. Additionally, Sniper Elite 5 features a new co-op mode, allowing players to join forces with friends and tackle missions together.
Other than fixing plenty of bugs and glitches, the most recent Sniper Elite 5 free update also gives gamers a brand-new No-cross map with a twist. The map is named Landing Zone and features a circular divide that confines one team to the center of the village, while the opposing team attempts to flank them from all sides. Aside from that, a new Winter Weapons Skin Pack is also introduced to the game as players can now apply a chilly Arctic paint scheme to all of their guns.
Furthermore, even though an exact release date for Season 2 was not given out by Rebellion, the developers have promised that it’s coming “very soon.” Season 2 will grace all the elite snipers on the battlefield with 2 Campaign Missions, 6 Weapon Packs, 2 Weapon Skin Packs, and 4 Character Skins. Moreover, Sniper Elite 5 will get additional free Multiplayer Maps and a free Weapons Pack sometime in the near future. The full soundtrack of the game also became accessible on streaming platforms and is available for download.
Sniper Elite 5 is considered to be one of the best modern stealth games available on the market.
