Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins finally gives a first look at its heroes and villains via these character posters. Released by Paramount, the posters list each character fans can expect to see in the movie.

Snake Eyes G.I. Joe Origins gives fans a closer look into the past as well as the mind of one of the franchise's most popular characters. The movie tells the origins of Snake Eyes, obviously, and goes into the training as well as the backstory of how he became the soldier fans know and love today. The Snake Eyes film also features fan favorites Scarlett, Baroness, and Storm Shadow (all who appeared in the 2009 G.I. Joe film, although played by different actors).

A while back, fans got a view of the Snake Eyes poster but now all of the characters are getting the spotlight. We see both heroes and villains in the nicely crafted designs. It's also worth noting that the release date isn't that far off, only about a month away, making it a perfect summertime blockbuster watch. The titular character is known for having the most complex, action-packed fight scenes and if the Snake Eyes trailer is anything to go off of, this movie looks like it won't disappoint. Highway gunfights, hidden dojos, and rooftop battles in the rain all make the recipe for a great Snake Eyes movie.

The franchise appears to be making its return now that a new G.I. Joe TV series is in development at the same time this movie on the horizon. So, it looks like they're trying to revitalize the series once again. By giving fans a look at one of its most elusive characters, this movie will trailblaze a new side of the universe that hasn't been seen before.

Fans know Snake Eyes for being silent, so to see him speaking is something many are not used to. Of course, as an origin film, it is likely that the events of Snake Eyes will take place before the famous accident that forever damaged the character's vocal cords.

If this film does well, expect to see a possible reboot of the recent G.I. Joe films and hopefully done a lot better. With G.I. Joe getting a new breath of fresh air, anything is possible. If they bring back the same actors that'd be a welcome surprise, as long as they take care of the plot first and follow up from there.

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins will be in theaters on July 23rd, 2021.
