Fans of SMITE already know that the game is packed full of content, but now it looks as though there's even more coming. Season 8 just launched today, bringing in a new era for the unique MOBA game and adding even more things for players to do. The massive update comes at a great time too, as the game's player base has been steadily rising.

As part of this update, SMITE players will enjoy access to a new map for the main 5v5 game mode, a new battle pass for fans to earn more rewards with, a seasonal event that has already started, and several free skins. This is just the start of season 8's content, however, and there is supposed to be more on the way.
