After the success of his Super Smash Bros. taunt video, Smash Dad appears in a new video showcasing his take on Street Fighter 2 Turbo's victory poses.

The majority of gamers are between the ages of 18-35, but that just makes it even better when older folks get in on the fun. One older gentleman appears to be having the time of his life recreating iconic Street Fighter II Turbo victory poses, spurred on by his son.

Nick Luciano's Dad isn't a newcomer to the world of fighting game victory poses. Also known as Smash Dad, he previously appeared in a video mimicking every Super Smash Bros. taunt. He must have enjoyed it, because his son has managed to talk him into performing the Street Fighter II Turbo victory poses, and they're a hoot to watch. From the giggling Chun-Li to the levitating Dhalsim, Smash Dad recreates them all with vigor and a great sense of humor. Surprisingly, he manages to keep from cracking up while performing most of them, even while enthusiastically combing back his white hair in a mimicry of Guile. He's clearly having fun, grinning the entire time and not shying away from any of the sillier victory poses.

Given that Street Fighter II Turbo was originally released over twenty years ago, it's entirely possible that Smash Dad played the game way back when. Either way, the years going by clearly aren't going to stop Smash Dad from having fun. Considering that wary adults have often been concerned about the influence of video games on children and adolescents, it's great to see a parent enjoying fighting games in his own way.

Like Smash Dad, not all elders are completely against the more violent side of video games. We've previously enjoyed watching Elders' hijinks in violent games, whether it's older folks playing Grand Theft Auto V, or making grandparents face off against each other in an Elder vs Elder tournament in Mortal Kombat X. While Street Fighter II Turbo is tame in comparison to these more modern and violent titles, it's just as much fun since Nick Luciano's Dad is actually physically acting them out.

It remains to be seen if Smash Dad will return for another video of poses and taunts. Viewers clearly want him to, though, with commenters requesting Dark Souls gestures and Final Fantasy victory poses in honor of Cloud joining the Super Smash Bros. cast. Hopefully Smash Dad is open to requests, because we'd love to see more of his antics.

Ranters, do you have an older person in your life that appreciates video games? Tell us about it in the comments.
