At the moment, fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are going crazy over the recent 3.0 update, which brings with it the highly anticipated DLC character Joker from Persona 5. But this wasn't the only extra bit of news Nintendo has dropped; the company also announced three new Amiibo figures for the game - Pichu, the Pokemon Trainer and Isabelle.

Those who love collecting Nintendo's miniature figurines won't have long to wait to get their hands on them either. The aforementioned three characters will be made available at retailers from July 26th. It's not yet known how much they'll be, but we can safely assume they'll cost the same as previous Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Amiibo at $16 USD each. Anyone hungry for new Amiibo now, though, can try and grab the newest batch that were made available earlier this month - Daisy, Young Link and Ken.

Considering Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's already gargantuan and still growing roster, there're still plenty of characters that have yet to get their own Amiibo. Nintendo has previously confirmed that Squirtle, Ivysaur, Snake, and Simon Amiibos will be out by the end of 2019, and we'll most probably see Joker get his own Amiibo too at some point.

Until then, Persona 5 fans can enjoy playing as the Phantom Thief right now by either purchasing his character pack or the Fighters Pass, which will grant access to every DLC character as they're released. Joker brings with him a brand new stage based on Mementos (a dungeon area from Persona 5) and several music tracks from not just his own game but also Persona 3 and Persona 4, including some brand new arrangements. The update also brings back the Stage Builder, which was rumored to return last month along with the Home-Run Contest. The latter, however, is still absent - maybe it's being saved for another update?

As for the rest of the DLC characters, they still remain a mystery, though a very popular theory/rumor at the moment is that one of them will be Dragon Quest character; specifically Erdrick, an important character from the first three games.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available right now on Nintendo Switch.
