With a game as highly anticipated as Sucker Punch Productions' Ghost of Tsushima releasing tomorrow, final marketing pushes abound. Some of this comes from official channels, such as Sucker Punch releasing a Snapchat filter featuring Jin Sakai's mask, but a retailer called ProGamingShop in Slovakia has gone a step above and beyond by commissioning a high-quality slip-on cover for the game as its own pre-order bonus.

The cover depicts a beautiful rendition of Jin on the front with heavily Japanese-inspired scenery on the back, which works perfectly for a game that Sucker Punch has been hyping up for its environmental design through trailers, blog posts, and more. It was created by Slovakian illustrator, animator, and game developer Eniac, and according to ProGamingShop's website it is an "exclusive" item. One Redditor named BenjaminMadoran who brought attention to it on the r/PS4 subreddit said the store is also giving away t-shirts and posters.

As a follow-up to Sucker Punch Productions' Infamous series, Ghost of Tsushima reviews have suggested it is a largely successful open-world game with a more divisive handle on its samurai film-inspired story. Many have been looking forward to it as one of the last PS4 exclusive titles, and those who can get their hands on the special slip-on cover should no doubt be excited.

Sony has also prepared its own collector's edition box set for Ghost of Tsushima, complete with a replica mask, cloth map, mini art book, and more. However, Best Buy has had to refund some collector's editions because of a lack of stock. In its place, the retailer chain is sending a free launch copy of the game to those who had to miss out.

After a long time in development, Ghost of Tsushima finally went gold in June. Its heavy focus on history and combat, as well as strong visual style with a dedicated photo mode, has already caught the attention of many — as evidenced by the extra attention from ProGamingShop.

Because of that, excitement for the game on the eve of its release is palpable. Ghost of Tsushima is the third game to receive a perfect score by Famitsu that was created outside of Japan, with the last title to hold that distinction being 2013's Grand Theft Auto 5. Players will have to see whether it lives up to the hype once it becomes available.

Ghost of Tsushima launches on July 17, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
