The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has been out for over 10 years at this point, yet the game is still played extensively to this day. Bethesda bringing Skyrim to as many platforms as possible has certainly helped with its longevity, but even without the game's many ports, one has to imagine that people would still be playing the game. Skyrim gives players a massive open world to explore and the freedom to play any kind of character they'd like, which means players can have a different experience everytime they play.

Sometimes Skyrim players take inspiration from existing sources when building their characters, like Reddit user teejbreakbeat did with their Thor build. Their Skyrim Thor build was made using the vanilla version of the game, meaning no mods, so others can more easily replicate it. To make the Skyrim Thor build, teejbreakbeat used a Stalhrim Mace to act as Mjolnir and combined with shock destruction magic and heavy armor.

Teejbreakbeat showed off their Skyrim Thor build with a video of some of their highlights, showing the Stalhrim Mace and shock magic in action. In the video, Skyrim fans can see teejbreakbeat's version of Thor laying waste to all kinds of enemies, including some of the game's deadlier foes, like dragons. The whole thing is set to "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin, which was also famously used in the Thor: Ragnarok Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Anyone interested in replicating this Skyrim Thor build will need to get their hands on the Stalhrim Mace, which was added to the game as part of the Dragonborn expansion. Skyrim players can buy the Stalhrim Mace from Baldor Iron-Shaper in Skaal Village or Glover Mallory in Raven Rock, or they might get lucky and find it as loot while out exploring the game world. Alternatively, Skyrim players with a smithing skill of at least 80 can craft the Stalhrim Mace for themselves as long as they have three Stalhrim and one Leather Strip.

Getting the Dragonborn content in Skyrim shouldn't be too difficult nowadays. After all, the Skyrim - Special Edition release includes all of the DLC that released for Skyrim, Dragonborn included. And anyone that picked up the most recent release, Skyrim - Anniversary Edition, should also have access to the Dragonborn content.

Skyrim gives players the tools to create their own takes on famous characters, and it will be interesting to see if Starfield, Bethesda's next game, offers a similar level of flexibility. Fans will find out once the Starfield release date rolls around on November 11 of 2022.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
