Despite the fan excitement around The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim being truly immense in the days leading up to its release back in 2011, practically nobody could've predicted it to be the overwhelming sensation it has become, with the video game still being enjoyed by many to this day. Although, as it is one of the most acclaimed RPGs of all time, it shouldn't come as too much of a shock that Bethesda's epic continues to be a success in the modern gaming space. With such a thriving fan base, there have been many fans over the years that have paid tribute to Skyrim in various ways.

For the uninitiated, one of the major reasons why The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has stood the test of time so gracefully is because of the overwhelming amount of gameplay it has to offer from the get-go. From choice-effected missions to its wide array of weapons that ranging from Orcish blades to iron daggers, there is simply hundreds of hours worth of content. But while many gamers pick up The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for its sword-swinging action and drama-filled narrative, there is a large portion of the community that dive into the world of Tamriel to enjoy some of the finer activities, like its in-depth character customization.

When players first boot up The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, they are given full control over how their in-game playable character should look. There are numerous options to choose from, such as sex, skin tone, and weight, with the only limit being the player's imagination. Once a character has been made, players are then free to roam Tamriel, where they can score more outfits along their journeys to further customize their character. While there are hundreds of epic armor sets to find in Skyrim, the community has taken a great liking to the Dragon priest masks, with one fan now building an impressive collection of them but in real-life.

Blowing up on the popular The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim subreddit, user Optimal-Prune-2213 recently shared a series of images that show three beautifully crafted real-life Dragon priest masks, and it is easily one of the more stunning Skyrim fan-tributes the community has seen in some time. Making up the stunning collection from left to right is the Otar wizard mask, the forbidden Miraak mask, and then the legendary Konahrik mask. The full set is really impressive, with each piece featuring some elaborate carving for added detail, complete with a light polish to give them a captivating luster.

For players who do not know of Skyrim's iconic Dragon priest masks, these items easily rank among the more highly sought-after in-game pieces. After all, not only can the player can wear each mask, but they also offer magical, powerful enchantments when equipped. However, getting one's hands on any of these masks is quite the task since players will have to slay each Dragon priest to steal their corresponding veil. Even though Dragon priests rank among Skyrim's toughest opponents, the reward is often worth the effort.

In summary, since Optimal-Prune-2213's post was met with over 235 upvotes and praise from many community members, hopefully there will be more inspired designs to come up in the future. After all, there are still many other Dragon priest masks in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim that would make for some exceptional real-life designs, like the Rahgot, Dukaan and Zahkriisos masks.
