The Elder Scrolls series maintains relevance with Skyrim due to the release of its Anniversary Edition last year and fans continue to capture strange and interesting moments in-game. One Skyrim fan has found a way to team up with mammoths in order to take out one of the many dragons flying around the vast open world.
Twitter user Kitty_Komplex recently posted a clip of their adventure in Skyrim in which they are finishing a lengthy battle with a dragon, triggering a killcam on their final swing. Because the power of Skyrim dragons scales to a player's level, Kitty_Komplex had already hit the enemy several times prior to the start of their video and was mostly unharmed. The aforementioned mammoths are nowhere near Kitty_Komplex when the encounter begins, but quickly emerge to help the Skyrim player finish off the intrusive beast.
Kitty_Komplex's video begins with the first moments of a Skyrim killcam in which the player uses an enchanted weapon to strike the dragon several more times in a lengthier killcam than normal. While Kitty_Komplex is mounted on the green and brown flying creature, two Skyrim mammoths enter the screen with one on either side of the subdued dragon. As Kitty_Komplex finishes killing the dragon in the killcam, the mammoths both take swings that connect with the vulnerable enemy which doesn't do much actual damage as the dragon has only a sliver of health left.
When Kitty_Komplex's clip concludes, the two mammoths that came to the aid of the Skyrim player turn around to walk away before the dragon cremates down to the bones and the Dragonborn absorbs its soul. Kitty_Komplex has deemed this mammoth encounter as a "complete rampage" and admitted that they were minding their own business before the two mammoths showed up. According to Kitty_Komplex, this is their best Skyrim clip, and it was captured on Nintendo Switch rather than through a platform the recently released Anniversary Edition is available on.
Given that the dragon in Kitty_Komplex's Skyrim video had already been hit by one final blow, the two mammoths that show up offer the player moral support more than helping kill the dragon. mammoths often team up with Giants in Skyrim, and they have been known to fight dragons when necessary, but it's rare that mammoths will go out of their way to help players in a way like the mammoths in Kitty_Komplex's clip. It's currently unclear where the Giants that come with the two mammoths are in Kitty_Komplex's video, but they may be less aggressive towards dragons than the Woolly quadruped.
