Many users have been playing The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim since it first launched. With an extensive amount of content for players to explore and discover, Skyrim has a high level of replayability that compels players to keep coming back for more. As a result, players can sometimes miss a number of practical aspects of the terrain that allow for faster traversal.

Of the numerous locations that Skyrim has to offer, Whiterun tends to be one of the most memorable. Whiterun tends to be the first major location new players will visit after going through the tutorial mission in Helgen and in turn, has plenty of NPCs and additional locations players can discover, one of which being the Skyforge. Now, one player has discovered a quicker way to reach the Skyforge in Whiterun.

A Reddit user named danielgarcia2, after playing through Skyrim a grand total of five times, noticed an easy way to make it from Dragonsreach to the Skyforge by climbing across a rock partition separating both locations. While it might have taken the user a long time to notice it, the shortcut is certainly useful and will likely benefit a number of other players.

What's truly admirable about Skyrim as an overall experience is the fact that because there's so much content for players to enjoy, there's plenty of things that players will miss out on, even after playing through the game multiple times, such as the case with this user. For instance, one player noticed that the spell Clairvoyance could be used during the "With Friends Like These" mission to determine which target needs to be killed.

In any case, it's amazing that players are still discovering new things about Skyrim over ten years after its initial release. While the Skyrim Anniversary Edition added new content for players to enjoy, it's impressive how long Skyrim has managed to maintain its influence and popularity in the eyes of the gaming community.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Elder Scrolls series moving forward. Many fans of the series are still waiting for an update regarding the development of The Elder Scrolls 6. Given the sheer amount of projects Bethesda has been working on over the last several years, such as Skyrim Anniversary Edition and the upcoming release of Starfield, it makes sense that there's been little to no additional information regarding The Elder Scrolls 6.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
