While The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim does allow fans to play the game in multiple ways, one of the most intriguing aspects of the game is getting to role-play as a sneaky thief. While it doesn't limit which race or character players should use as a thief, it's more than likely that people will choose to play as the world's cat-like beings known as the Khajiit, who usually start off with the best attributes for thievery. However, the Thieve's Guild quest is quite a lengthy one, so a user has managed to put together a handy cut-n-keep guide.

Posting an image of the chart to the Skyrim Subreddit recently, user leeksfreek has shown what it means to be a thief in the game, and taking on those side quests. In the guide, they have labelled such things as the five "small jobs" that relate to specific cities, such as Riften, where the Thieve's Guild quests begin. They've also shown the "influence jobs" or "influence quests", which are special tasks the player can take on after completing the five small city jobs.

On top of that, they've also added, and drawn, a list of the treasures that are found during quests, such as the Honningbrew Decanter, Dwemer Puzzle Cube, and East Empire Shipping Map which is found in the East Empire Company Warehouse in Solitude. While leekfreek's guide doesn't contain absolutely everything, for which they've explained it's because they ran out of space, it still is a handy chart that helps give an overview of what players can expect when taking on the thief side missions in the game.

Skyrim's Thieve's Guild quests are notable missions and popular among fans of the series in general, allowing players to hone in on their stealth skills, breaking and entering places, stealing artifacts, and being a creature of the night. It's perhaps not as popular, though, as the Dark Brotherhood quests in Oblivion, which combined the stealth aspects of being a thief, with the added bonus of being a ruthless killer.

Ten years on, and people are still making the most of Skyrim. Even though The Elder Scrolls 6 is not expected to be out until as early as 2023, it will be interesting to see how the next game handles the thief missions, and what ways it will allow players to be a stealthy Khajiit, or other character. Until then, people like leeksfreek will continue to assist those who are new to the series, or just want a handy guide to see them through to the end.
