The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has left something of a legacy, and pretty much continues to do so, despite being released ten years ago. Many other games would have likely faded out by now, or at least moved on to the next installment, but with the Skyrim Anniversary Edition coming out recently, it looks as though Bethesda's open world epic is going to be sticking around for a good while longer. Much of this longevity can be attested to the community. There are countless fan-made mods for the game, but as well as that, people are still finding interesting and/or unique things, whether they're meant to be there or not.

In a recent post on the Skyrim Subreddit, user darkdragon81693 uploaded a brief clip of them playing the game, in which they encounter a dragon inside Labyrinthian. Only, it isn't just the one dragon. Beginning the video by uttering the phrase "look at this bull**** that's about to happen," the player reveals that, as the dragon lies on the ground, a second, skeletal dragon appears underneath. The user then finds themselves head-to-head with both of them, which does not end well as darkdragon81693 gets "disintegrated," to use their own words.

For those not overly familiar with the game, Labyinthian is a Skyrim ruin where players can discover a "pregnant" skeleton, and is located southeast of Marthal. Although the original poster doesn't specify, it's likely that they were in the midst of the College of Winterhold questline, given that this location is normally only breached when attempting the "Staff of Magnus" mission that accompanies this aspect of the game.

In the Reddit thread, another user says that they also experienced the same thing that darkdragon81693 encountered, adding that they killed the "non-skeletal" dragon before the other one spawned in. It sounds like this is something that's not meant to happen. Skyrim is fairly notorious for having some weird glitches, and it seems as though this double-skeleton one in Labyrinthian is probably a bug as well. The user doesn't say whether this occurred in the Anniversary Edition, but if it did, then it's possible that other users may come across it as well.

Alongside that, fans are still waiting to hear about any news related to the next installment in the franchise. With Bethesda saying The Elder Scrolls 6 could be another "decade" game when it does finally come out, it will be interesting to see whether players encounter other such amusing glitches or whether the studio will learn from past mistakes.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series S/X.
