An Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim player has shared an incredible trick that lets users quickly max out their Illusion stat. Illusion is one of several schools of magic in Skyrim, each having its own skill tree. Users can change how the world reacts to them and other NPCs using various skills from the Illusion school of magic.

As an example, players can cast the Frenzy spell to make the target attack anyone nearby for a set period. Similarly, gamers can also spread fear among their enemies or choose to befriend them for a short duration. All of these abilities can be improved using various perks, and Skyrim allows fans to dual-cast spells to further increase their effectiveness. Illusion magic can be useful in several situations as players journey across Skyrim, and one fan has now figured out an easy way to maximize this skill.

A Reddit user named PromptZues19508 made a new post detailing how this strategy works in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. PromptZues19508 claimed that casting the Fury spell on a chicken will cause it to charge at the player. However, as chickens cannot attack users directly, the player improves their Illusion skill without facing any consequences. PromptZues19508 then mentioned that gamers can keep casting Fury on a chicken to gain an infinite amount of Illusion levels.

However, this strategy is not fool-proof and things can always go wrong in the world of Skyrim. PromptZues19508 added an update stating that two of their chickens got killed by a guard and a mercenary, so they recommend using this tactic away from other NPCs. It looks like this strategy is also viable using rabbits, but the player warned others to stay away from the chickens in Riverwood.

One fan recommended using the Muffle spell from the Illusion school of magic, which allows gamers to move quietly. This appears to be a popular choice as other users also mentioned taking advantage of Muffle for power-leveling Illusion. However, PromptZues19508 claimed that Muffle takes way too much Magicka, so it would have taken a lot longer for it to level up as opposed to casting Fury on chickens.

Illusion magic seems to lead to some interesting scenarios, as one Skyrim player used it to hang out with a bandit. The player utilized the Calm spell, which causes enemies to stop fighting for a short duration. They then decided to spend time with the bandit and heard new dialogue as the enemy turned friend talked about how much she missed her mother.
