For Bethesda fans, there are some major titles on the horizon. Microsoft wants Starfield to be one of Bethesda's biggest games to date, and still at some point beyond that, fans will be treated to The Elder Scrolls 6. Comparisons of these two games to Skyrim will be inevitable, because it has remained in the public conscious longer than most games. Indeed, Skyrim is over ten years old now, has seen many re-releases, and yet it still captures the hearts of players to this day.

There’s always something going on with Skyrim, as players discover it for the first time or play through it for the tenth time. Skyrim discoveries are usually within the game itself, but sometimes they are outside it. Someone, for example, recently found a legitimate Skyrim Daedric dagger in an antique store, while even more recently, someone found a fake "Tinder profile" designed around Lydia.

Shared by u/LiKINGtheODds on Reddit, this profile shows an image of Lydia (Skyrim’s most memorable companion), denotes her profession as Housecarl, and reveals her age to be 25 years old. The “hobbies” this Tinder profile lists to “attract” people to Lydia include some of her most annoying features in the game. For example, one of these hobbies includes standing in doorways, which players know means her tendency to block players in certain areas. She can be moved, obviously, but it’s still annoying.

Her other two “hobbies” include complaining about her job, as well as dying in the most inconvenient places. The former is quite notable of Lydia’s dialogue, where she will say she is sworn to carry the player’s burdens in a very dissatisfied manner. Would-be suitors for Lydia on Tinder should keep in mind that she has likely been married in Skyrim, several times. In fact, building off of this Tinder Profile is one comment that is quite hilarious.

Redditor pixelated_avatar commented on this profile that he married Lydia in Riften before she completely ghosted him. As the Redditor reveals, Lydia also ran off with all the Dwemer weapons and armor he had given her. It turns out, based on the comments, that a bug can see Lydia disappear after getting married under certain conditions; luckily, other players gave some advice on how to find her in Skyrim and all ended well. However, this may be something that “suitors” for Lydia want to keep in mind.

At the end of the day, it’s a hilarious fake Tinder profile—it’s nowhere near legit. But it gives fans something to talk about for Skyrim, a whole decade later. All of this also proves that Skyrim, even likely after Starfield and TES6 release, will always be relevant.

Skyrim is available on all major platforms.
