Bethesda released The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim in 2011 and the game has reached more players through multiple upgrades and ports since then. One of Skyrim's most dedicated fans is Shirley Curry, also known as Skyrim Grandma, and she has been recognized by Bethesda on multiple occasions, including recently when the team sent her a gift package.

Shirley Curry took to her Twitter and YouTube today to celebrate Skyrim a gift basket sent to her full of tons of The Elder Scrolls goodies from Bethesda Softworks. These goodies sent to Skyrim Grandma include socks, artwork, a cookbook, and more, all themed around The Elder Scrolls franchise with a heavy emphasis on Skyrim. One of the reasons Bethesda sent Curry this care package is a medical scare that Skyrim Grandma had, but the developer isn't stopping there as she will also featured as a character in The Elder Scrolls 6.

Shirley Curry began her Skyrim Vlog by lamenting some technical issues with recording videos that are likely relatable to several other YouTube content creators. After hinting at what The Elder Scrolls goodies she had to share with her audience, she takes a moment to thank everyone at Bethesda, notably Bethesda Community Lead Jessica Finster who has been in touch with Skyrim Grandma since her rise in popularity. The first of many items in the Skyrim gift package that Curry shows off is a dual sword-wielding Chibi plush of Skyrim's Dragonborn protagonist which has furry boots that Curry particularly appreciates.

Skyrim Grandma then went on to show off The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Atmospheres vinyl record which she's looking forward to listening to despite not having a record player of her own.The package also includes two unique pieces of Skyrim art that will be framed and put in the background on her wall, and a blue scarf that features various Skyrim icons on it like the Alteration, Enchanting, and Illusion symbols. The final big item Curry unveils to her audience is the Official Elder Scrolls Cookbook Gift Set which includes several recipes from across The Elder Scrolls franchise alongside a Skyrim-inspired apron.

The final items in Skyrim Grandma's gift package from Bethesda are the more commonly available Skyrim socks which are emblazoned with the Dragonborn symbol and a Pop figure of one of the many NPCs inhabiting the world of Skyrim, M'aiq The Liar. Taking her audience behind the scenes, Skyrim Grandma highlights a thoughtful and handwritten letter from Jessica Finster which is full of well-wishes and hints at what cozy items are included in the package. Although she has had medical issues in the recent past, this gift package from Bethesda may have risen the spirits of Skyrim Grandma and the rest of her family.
