To get right to it, fans that are on the hunt for Goldfish are advised to visit Mara’s Eye Pond in Skyrim, a small body of water that is situated just southwest of Windhelm. For full clarity, players can find a video below that showcases the precise position of this pond, and there should be three Goldfish swimming in it. While that pond near Windhelm may be the most consistent source for Goldfish, there are some other bodies of water that players can check if they wish to. More specifically, fans report that they have found Goldfish in the pond near Fort Neugrad, which is south of Riverwood, as well as near the waterfall in Falkreath.

Other Tips For Catching Goldfish In Skyrim

Fans that are targeting one of the aforementioned locations should not try to catch Goldfish with their fishing rods. Instead, they should simply jump into these bodies of water and grab the fish with their hands. While it is true that this approach does not utilize all of the new tools that are featured in Skyrim's Fishing Creation, it is undoubtedly the easiest way for players to obtain the Goldfish that they need for their crafting and cooking.

There is one drawback to not using a fishing rod to catch Goldfish, though, and it is that Skyrim players will not have the chance to earn any rare treasures. Indeed, the Fishing Creation adds a variety of unique rings and amulets to Skyrim, and they are obtained by casting into fishing spots. Players that do not find a Goldfish in Skyrim in these bodies of water they can force them to spawn eventually by moving the time in-game forward.
