Given how open and expansive the world presented in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is, it can often times lead to some rather unexpected and unintended mishaps. This can range from strange animations, to various glitches and bugs present throughout Skyrim. Though, one player noticed something that not many players are likely bound to experience in their playthroughs.

Despite how visually impressive Skyrim remains to this day, the game still possesses numerous a number of technical problems with the game. The number of crazy glitches that can occur in Skyrim is quite staggering and while they can often break the immersion of the experience, many of them are quite entertaining and hilarious in their own right. One player in particular noticed a rather unique glitch involving a dragon and a giant.

A Reddit user by the name of Cassiusthevast witnessed an amazing spectacle while roaming the lands of Skyrim. Out of nowhere, a dragon comes flying in with a giant riding on its back. While riding on the back of a dragon was introduced in the Skyrim: Dragonborn DLC, that ability only applied to the player character. Now, it seems that giants can randomly jump on the back of a dragon and be taken off into the sky.

It's quite incredible to see what can happen in the world of Skyrim outside of the player's control. No matter how ridiculous the sight of a giant riding on top of a dragon might appear, it does mean that something had to have happened outside of the player's field of view in order for that to occur. It's not like the Skyrim deer glitch that just happens at random. Thus, it's possible that a giant may have spawned on top of a dragon, to which the dragon then proceeded to fly away with the giant in tow.

The fact that Skyrim has been out for nearly a decade and yet, weird events like this can happen to new players is quite impressive in a way. To this day, players are still discovering numerous new details and features hidden throughout Skyrim. For example, one fan found a rather extraordinary solution to the Dark Brotherhood opening mission, 'With Friends Like These.'

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for The Elder Scrolls series. While The Elder Scrolls 6 was confirmed to be in development, there hasn't been much by way of official news that gives fans a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming game. Only time will tell if The Elder Scrolls 6 manages to live up to its predecessor.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now on PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
