Developer Bethesda Softworks truly loaded The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim with an extraordinary amount of gameplay features and expansive content that players can get lost in for hours. From an open world filled with diverse NPCs to the ability for players to thoroughly construct their very own Dragonborn warrior, the action role-playing game has quite a bit in store for those that give it a try. Although, that's not to assume that Skyrim doesn't have some laughable bugs in store for unsuspected players, with said bugs appearing now and then to leave the community completely gob smacked.

One of developer Bethesda's most notorious qualities is how its modern releases like Fallout 76 are filled with glitches that often lead to players stumbling upon entertaining or unexplainable in-game experiences. However, more veteran gamers will understand that this trait is nothing new with the Maryland-based developer. After all, despite the fact that it has been a decade since Bethesda released Skyrim to the masses and the fact that it has been ported onto many gaming platforms, the game is still no stranger to extraordinary unscripted experiences.

Now, Reddit user Redline_Studios has shared a short video with Reddit that reinforces the notion that the game is full of bugs. Adding to the list of hilarious Skyrim glitches recently shared by players, the 56-second clip begins with Redline_Studios scouring a vast forest with NPC Chief Yamaz. For the uninitiated, Chief Yamarz is the Orsimer Chief of Largashbur in The Rift. He is the primary antagonist of the quest "The Cursed Tribe." All appears fine until they continue onwards and encounter a giant.

Chief Yamaz draws his battle axe and approaches one of Skyrim's infamous giants. However, all it hilariously takes is just one swing from the giant at the Orsimer Chief. This fatal right-hook causes the Chief Yamaz to rag-doll and scream as they are flung high into the sky, never to be seen again. After sharing the video with Reddit, Redline_Studios's post racked up over 5,000 upvotes as users checked by the reply section to celebrate how absurd the game can become thanks to its glitches. Out of all the responses, one comment encapsulates why the giants are so notorious within the Skyrim community, as they state that "Man, the giant glitch truly just never gets old."

The physics engine of Skyrim often results in some uproarious moments, as a similarly absurd video featuring a giant riding a dragon in Skyrim was also shared on the subreddit sometime ago. According to one comment on the post, despite it being a glitch, such hilarious sightings are surprisingly common for players to come across.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
