Skyrim is a beloved game for many reasons, and one of them is its introduction of Dragons to the Elder Scrolls series. Dragons gave the game a new level of hype and also bestowed upon players the game's protagonist, the Dragonborn, with new powers. The Dragonborn is able to consume the souls of fallen dragons and speak their language, which is what activates their powers.

With the Dragonborn being so powerful, many gamers think about what kind of villains from other series they could take on. There are a lot of villains that the Dragonborn could take down, but there are also a ton that they wouldn't be able to finish off.

10 Beat: Dr. Neocortex (Crash Bandicoot)

Dr. Neo Cortex is the arch-nemesis to series protagonist Crash Bandicoot and he fits the stereotypical mad scientist trope pretty well. The thing about him is that he is somehow defeated by an athletic humanoid bandicoot with a fridge temperature IQ, so even if the Dragonborn doesn't have the most points in their intellectual abilities, they should be able to get through most if not all of Neo Cortex's traps with little to no resistance just by using brute force and some well-timed dragon shouts.

9 Loses To: Psycho Mantis (Metal Gear Solid)

Psycho Mantis is a boss from Metal Gear Solid 1 that the player has to defeat in one of the most fourth wall breaking ways imaginable. The player has to literally change the controller input they are using because Psycho Mantis can read the player's mind, not Snake's, through the controller. The Dragonborn gains a lot of abilities from their adventures in the land of Tamriel but being able to break the fourth wall is not one of them, so the Dragonborn will likely have a hard time against Psycho Mantis.

8 Beat: Ripto (Spyro)

Ripto from Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage is somehow not actually a dragon, he is his own thing known as a Riptoc, which are basically dinosaurs. Ripto's main ability is his very long list of spells and magical abilities that he has access to, but not to the same level that dragons do, hence why he hates them so much. It's unclear if this hatred extends to the Dragonborn, who also would like to see most dragons eliminated, but is in many ways one themselves, either way, it wouldn't be much of a struggle for the Dragonborn to take down a Dragon wannabe.

7 Loses To: Baldur (God Of War)

Baldur was something of a surprise in the most recent entry in the God of War franchise, at first glance, the player might think that Baldur is nothing but a crazy person who knocked on the wrong man's door. That's before he uppercuts Kratos a few stories in the air and then proceeds to give him a hard opening fight barehanded.

The fact that Baldur is also immortal would make it hard for the Dragonborn to take him down, especially since they have no way of figuring out what Baldur's weakness is.

6 Beat: David (The Last Of Us)

This fight is an easy one for the Dragonborn as David from The Last of Us is just a human and a pretty unremarkable one at that. David isn't physically imposing or intimidating, he's just a creepy cannibal, which is nothing that the Dragonborn hasn't encountered before, they might even be a cannibal depending on the player's choices. Even if David sends his followers after them, the Dragonborn cuts down armies of people as a warm-up pretty much every day, so it's not much of a fight.

5 Loses To: Moon Presence (Bloodborne)

It's a bit of a weird statement to call the Moon Presence from Bloodborne a villain, as it's a secret boss that is more or less ambivalent to the actions that are happening in the game's world; it's just kind of existing in that sense.

Either way, it's still the game's final boss and fittingly it's one of the hardest, if not the hardest, fights in the game. The Moon Presence is an ethereal eldritch being that takes years of specific training and multiple lives to take down, which the Dragonborn does not have.

4 Beat: Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal)

Needles Kane/ Sweet Tooth is the mascot of the Twisted Metal franchise and he follows the strange current trend of clowns being the most terrifying thing in existence. In all fairness, they always have been and Sweet Tooth has been around long before the current trend but still being a flaming evil murder ice cream truck is pretty cool. While there aren't cars in the world of Skyrim, the Dragonborn could probably use their ability to call on any number of Dragons to help take down this murderous ice cream man.

3 Loses To: Brooke Augustine (Infamous: Second Son)

Brooke Augustine is the main antagonist of Infamous Second Son and also one of the biggest hypocrites in all of gaming history. Augustine considers conduits to all be bioterrorists, regardless of the actions that they take with their power, despite also being a conduit. Hypocrisy aside, Augustine has access to immense military power, in what is approximately modern-day. The Dragonborn probably can't take on the power of an entire army and even one on one would have a hard time against Augustine's powers.

2 Beat: Rafael Adler (Uncharted 4)

Rafael is another human character that the Dragonborn would have no trouble mopping the floor with. While Rafael would definitely pose a slightly larger threat than David who was mentioned earlier, due to Rafael actually being in good shape and having some experience with Sword fighting and modern weapons, he is still only human, just a slightly remarkable one at that. Something that the Dragonborn would have no trouble with dealing with on one of their adventures.

1 Loses To: Zeus (God Of War)

It all comes back to the god of gods himself, Zeus. The God of Lightning is arguably one of the most powerful villains that the PlayStation has in its roster. It took not only the power and wrath of the mighty Kratos over three games to take Zeus down but also the essence of godhood to be put into a weapon, the only weapon that could kill Zeus. Obviously, the Dragonborn doesn't have access to this and even if they did, they don't have the raw power that Kratos had which is required to take down Zeus.
