Despite turning 10 years old last month, players continue to explore the land of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. With an impressive open-world design for a 2011 game, it features many breathtaking locations throughout the world of Tamriel. One of these stunning destinations is the College of Winterhold.

Located near the northern region of Skyrim, the College of Winterhold can be found outside the nearby city of the same name. Set near the rocky shore, the location features amazing views of the coastline. Additionally, it is arguably one of the architectural marvels of the game, as it features three large halls connected by a courtyard. Recently, one ingenious fan of Skyrim decided to rebuild the stunning structure in another open-world game.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Branman1234 shared a video of a recent project they completed in Minecraft. According to the creator, they decided to recreate the College of Winterhold from Skyrim. In the clip recorded by the gamer, they took fans on a journey around the grounds of the build. Impressively, this recreation featured many of the iconic parts of the original structure. From the long bridge to the open courtyard, each part of the structure was carefully constructed. The Reddit user even managed to copy the snowy shoreline seen in the Skyrim version.

In addition to showing off the build in a video, Branman1234 revealed a few more details about the project in the Reddit comments. According to the creator, the build was part of a Minecraft server they had created. Surprisingly, they revealed that this server contained many other settlements from Skyrim. In addition, they pointed out that the build only had a finished exterior. However, another project is planned that looks to replicate the interior of the College of Winterhold.

This impressive build of the College of Winterhold caught the attention of many members of the Skyrim community on Reddit. With over 4,100 upvotes in only a day, fans were impressed by the level of detail in the design. While numerous fans complimented the artist on the ornate design of the colossal structure, others were impressed with the scenery surrounding the build.

It’s fun to see creative fans remake iconic structures from video games using the various blocks found in Minecraft. Besides this remarkable recreation of the College of Winterhold, another fan recently built Goldenrod City from the Pokemon series in the game. Given the creative possibilities of Minecraft, it will be interesting to see what other creations fans come up with in the future.
