In particular, it is indicated that the Inigo follower mod, which adds a new Khajiit companion to the game, prevents the entry to Bloodchill Cavern from appearing. Its creepy vibe perfectly suits the Van Helsing-like tone of much of the Dawnguard DLC, though the Bloodchill Manor location is found quite far from the vampire hunters' eponymous fortress. This player home is locked behind a quest that begins upon entering Bloodchill Cavern, and it's a quest worth taking on because of the useful amenities that come with the Bloodchill Manor Skyrim home. The Guests for Dinner Skyrim quest is locked behind a level barrier at first, but it doesn't take long to meet this requirement and get on your way to earning Bloodchill Manor.
Features and Amenities of Bloodchill Cavern and Bloodchill Manor
Bloodchill Manor is actually found within Bloodchill Cavern, the name technically given to the player home made available with the Bloodchill Manor Creation. It's a great place for a vampire or a member of the Dawnguard as it has a matching vampiric aesthetic and comes with almost everything a player could ask for in a player home.
When it comes to crafting stations, in Bloodchill Manor Skyrim gives players access to an Alchemy and Enchanting table, a full suite of Blacksmithing stations, all types of cooking stations, and even a wood chopping block. The only thing this house is missing is a Staff Enchanter – there are only a handful of player homes that contain them.
Bloodchill Manor also features a number of unique displays and storage containers, like most Skyrim Anniversary Edition player homes. What makes it worth completing the Skyrim Guests for Dinner quest, though, is the assortment of unique items in the home. A set of vampiric armor, Soul Gems, Blacksmithing ingredients, and other items respawn regularly in the home. Reach Level 12, Then Wait For Your Invitiation
The first step toward accessing Bloodchill Manor is to hit Level 12. Upon reaching that level in Skyrim, fans should continue on their journeys, and they will eventually be approached by a Courier that will pass along a special Dinner Invitation. This invitation is the key to starting the quest that unlocks Bloodchill Manor, Guests for Dinner, and players may want to check the Books section of their inventories to see if they have already received it.
Attend The Dinner at Bloodchill Manor
With the Dinner Invitation in hand, players are now ready to make their way to Bloodchill Cavern. This location is situated to the southeast of Dawnstar, and landmarks like Snowpoint Beacon, Fort Fellhammer, and Wayward Pass are all good fast travel points for players that want to get there quickly. Fans should disable their mods if they do not find an entrance at this location.
After entering the cavern, players should approach Bloodchill Manor and attend the feast that is inside. Skyrim fans will not be seated at the banquet for long, though, and they will soon find themselves defending against a vampire attack. Notably, this battle can prove to be a bit difficult, and players that are lacking in suitable gear may want to consider lowering the difficulty. Regardless of how a fan chooses to deal with this attack, they will be awarded the home when they achieve victory.
