Skyrim turns 10 later this year. After almost a decade on the market, the game continues to remain popular with players. One of the reasons for this popularity stems from Skyrim’s vast open-world design. This format provides players with a seemingly infinite number of locations to visit and explore, such as Bleak Falls Barrow.

While adventuring throughout the world, players travel to many beautiful locations in Skyrim. One of these striking landmarks is Bleak Falls Barrow, an ancient Nordic structure. According to the game’s lore, the ancient Nords created the temple to worship the dragons. Situated among jagged peaks, the windswept location is often frequented by bandits. During the game, players are required to visit the ruins as part of a quest to obtain the Dragonstone, a tablet containing the location of the dragon burial mounds. In addition to this main story quest, several other quests involve Bleak Falls Barrow as well. Recently, one ingenious fan decided to recreate the structure in real life albeit in a different medium and much smaller scale.

In a Reddit post, a user known as PowerfulWolverine971 decided to design Bleak Falls Barrow from Skyrim out of LEGOs. Using a combination of white and gray bricks, the creator managed to recreate the icy landscape of the temple ruins. One of the highlights of the creation included a jagged peak rising above a ruined archway. In addition, a small interior room was located on the other side of the cliff. The hard work the creator put into the project was apparent in the finished product as they revealed the design took 750 pieces and roughly 6 hours of labor to complete.

This recreation of Bleak Falls Barrow in LEGO form has become popular with the Skyrim community. With over 800 upvotes on Reddit, fans are impressed with the design with many commenting that it “could come in a box with instructions.” Others were surprised by how well the visual style of the game transitioned over to LEGO, causing some to want a LEGO mod to be created to join the already impressive list of Skyrim mods available.

This is just one of the countless fan creations made by the community over the years since the game launched. Besides this LEGO Bleak Falls Barrow creation, another fan recently created a 3D-printed Mehrunes’ Razor complete with magnets to draw the fragments of the weapon together. In a world full of iconic places and objects to discover, it will be interesting to see what fans decide to create next based on Skyrim.
