There are few games as well known and as popular as Skyrim. The game has countless mods at this point which helps keep it fresh for everyone still playing the game ten years after it released. Even when Elderscrolls 6 releases, it's likely there will be many players still sticking with Skyrim.
Accessories in Skyrim do much more than just make the Dragonborn look amazing, they also can provide serious stat buffs! While it's possible to enchant items, there are also some unique accessories that have effects so awesome players won't want to miss out on what they can do.
10 Locket Of Saint Jiub
The Locket of Saint Jiub is incredibly useful, it not only increases carrying capacity by 50 but also grants the Dragonborn 50 stamina points as well! Players that want this amulet will first have to have Dawnguard installed, then track down Juib in the Soul Cairn. Players will get a quest call Impatience of a Saint where they have to track down all the pages of Jiub's book. If they complete this quest, they receive the locket.
9 Diadem Of The Savant
Mages in the world of Skyrim need every advantage they can get and the Diadem of the Savant is perfect for them. It reduces the amount of Magika needed for all spells by 5% which may seem small at first but adds up in a major way over time.
There are two ways to find the diadem. If the Dragonborn completes the Trial of Conjuration, they can find one on a dead Dremora in Shalidor's Maze. The far easier way is to simply travel to Froki's Shack where one spawns every few days on a wood chopping block there.
8 Ring of Bloodlust
The Ring of Bloodlust is a must-have for anyone playing as a werewolf. Players can purchase it from Majni at Frostmoon Craag but only if the Dragonborn is a werewolf. It costs 1,500 gold.
The ring allows players to deal 50% more damage while in battle in their wolf form but also makes them take 50% more damage. Luckily, players who plan ahead can avoid this pitfall. Simply make an Orismer character and use Berserker Rage to remove all the negative effects before demolishing a group of enemies.
7 Amulet of Talos
FUS - RO - DAH! Everyone loves a good shout, especially the Dragonborn, and the Amulet of Talos makes it so players can unleash them on their foes far more often. It reduces the cooldown of shouts by 20% which is an impressive number. Plus, it's impossible to get this enchantment on any other item.
There are many of these amulets spread throughout the game, but the easiest one to find is off the dead body of poor Roggvir. Players can loot it off his corpse once he is executed in Solitude.
6 Mage's Circlet
The Mage's Circlet can raise the player's Magika by anywhere from 20 to 70 depending on what level they receive it at, so make sure to be leveled up to at least level 25 before seeking it out. Players receive it at the end of the quest Good Intentions, which is the fourth quest for the College of Winterhold.
5 Ring of Namira
What's a little cannibalism if it gives the Dragonborn untold powers? The Ring of Namira increases the Dragonborn's stamina by 50 points! Oh, and allows them to feast on dead bodies to regain health and gain faster health regeneration. If players talk to Eola in the Hall of the Dead in Markarth, they can start a quest called The Taste of Death. Players will have to kill and eat someone to get the ring, but it's so worth it, right?
4 Aetherial Crown
The Aetherial Crown is incredibly special. It allows players to use the powers of two Standing Stones at the same time! This can lead to some fascinating combinations that seriously buff the Dragonborn to new heights.
The only way to get an Aetherial Crown is to craft it in the Aetherial Forge during the quest Lost to the Ages. It takes an Aetherium Crest, two Dwarven Metal Ingots, two Flawless Sapphires, and two Gold Ingots to create. Luckily, all the supplies are in the same room as the forge.
3 Ring of Erudite
The Ring of Erudite is potentially one of the best accessories mages could have in the entire game. It grants the player 100 extra Magika and vastly increases how fast Magika regenerates. The only issue is that players will have to become a vampire to get it.
Players can only receive this ring if they choose to become a Vampire Lord at the conclusion of the Bloodline questline. If so, the ring needs to be hunted down in one of 38 locations. Don't worry, they'll mark whichever one is chosen on the map.
2 Ahzidal's Ring Of Arcana
There are a lot of unusual spells in Skyrim but the unique ones players can only get in special ways are extra special. The only way to use the two unique Destruction Spells of Ignite and Freeze is by wearing Ahidal's Ring of Arcana. Players can grab the ring by completing a simple puzzle in Kolbjorn Barrow during the Unearthed quest. If players don't want to use the spells themselves they can make their followers equip the ring as they will sometimes still use the spells.
1 The Gauldur Amulet
It's hard to find an amulet that grants better stats overall than the Gauldur Amulet. Players that track down the three Gauldur Fragments during the Forbidden Legend quest can go to Reachwater Rock where they will defeat the guardians of the fragments. Once defeated, players can reform the amulet and enjoy having the added Health, Magika, and Stamina it offers them.
