The upcoming Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is truly a celebration of the ten-year-old game and its community as detailed by the fact that one of its main focuses seems to be including new content based on its Creation Club. Today, Bethesda detailed some of the new Creation Club content that fans can expect to see in the rerelease in a video posted to the company's YouTube channel.

In the video, Senior Artist and Creation Club Developer Lead Daniel Lee breaks down four of the biggest Creation Club additions to Skyrim: Anniversary Edition. The four elements that he highlights are the new quest expansion "Saints and Seducers," the in-game event "Rare Curios" featuring new, traveling Khajiit merchants, the immersive "Survival Mode," and the highly anticipated "Fishing Mode" which allows players to catch fish for eating, selling, display, and to be put in houses as pets.

While those four Creation Club additions have been the ones mainly highlighted in the game's marketing, Skryim: Anniversary Edition has a lot more community-made content coming to it that was highlighted in the video as well. The rerelease will include new armor sets, new enemy types, new weapons, and new questlines like "Ghosts of the Tribunal," a Morrowind-centric quest featuring plenty of items from the game, "The Cause," a throwback quest centered around the main antagonists of Oblivion, and, according to Lee, "so much more."

The highlighted new content coming with the anniversary edition is focused on paying tribute to Skryim's history and its community, two of the most inarguable things that made the title the major gaming touchstone that it is. Many fans have been hoping for more content from previous Elder Scrolls games featured in Skyrim and, based on the Creation Club questlines, it seems like they'll be getting their wish as there's plenty of throwback content featured in the video and there's likely more to be seen when exploring the quests in the finalized release of the game.

It's important to note that not everything is included with every edition of Skryim, however. Lee points out that all current owners of Skyrim: Special Edition on all platforms will be getting the "Saints and Seducers," "Rare Curios," "Survival Mode," and "Fishing Mode" expansions as a free download when Skryim: Anniversary releases on November 11, however, they won't be receiving the rest of the Creation Club content unless they purchase the anniversary edition.

Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is releasing on November 11, 2021 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
