While The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is an impressively large game with hundreds of hours' worth of content, it is arguably the fan base that is helping to keep this ten-year-old game in the cultural conscience. When expressing their love for the epic Bethesda RPG, many players turn to cosplay, showing not only a personal connection to the game, but their own skills as well. Take, for example, the Skyrim fan who recently dressed as a Stormcloak warrior, complete with lit torch at night. Now, another user has showcased their cosplay prowess by donning the attire of a guild member.

In a recent Reddit post, user Anhyra uploaded a couple of images which show her in a completed cosplay depicting herself as Aela the Huntress. The pictures show the outfit with full Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim armor, which she said she made from EVA foam, a couple of finely crafted weapons, and green painted face. The user even has the same auburn hair as the original character.

For those who are not familiar with the character, Aela the Huntress is a member of the Companions, which is a guild in Skyrim that functions in a similar way to the Fighter's Guild. In the game, she is known for training in archery, as well as Lycanthropy whereby players who take on the Companion's quest cannot complete it until they are initiated into The Circle by becoming a werewolf.

The cosplay outfit Anhyra has made is an amazing example of the talent that exists in the gaming community. Not to mention the fact that Skyrim is simply rife for people to make real life versions of NPCs. Just recently, another user showed off their Lydia cosplay, and one other person was able to make a stunning piece of Daedric armor, with people in the comments simply astounded at the level of detail that went into it. This latest upload is no exception, either.

Of course, even though plenty of people are still getting a lot of mileage out of Skyrim, either through cosplay or making mods for the game, many are probably holding out for news about the next installment in the Elder Scrolls franchise. Recently, Phil Spencer announced that The Elder Scrolls 6 won't be releasing until after Fable. It seems as though the sixth game in the epic series is unlikely to be coming until possibly post-2023. That's unlikely to be good news for many people.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
