After a literal decade of waiting, fans rejoice as EA Games has finally announced the return of one of their most cherished video game franchises with Skate 4. Fans of the Skate series have been asking for this game ever since the release of the widely popular Skate 3. After begging EA year after year to make Skate 4, it seems that EA is finally ready to deliver on the ravenous requests of the fans.

Skate 3 was released all the way back in May of 2010 and became a cult classic in a matter of months. The game also sparked numerous Let's Plays of the game by big name YouTubers such as Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye, and Markiplier. These playthroughs were all released a full four years after the initial release of Skate 3, which truly goes to show the longevity of the game's popularity and influence.

After the release of Skate 3, the studio expressed no interest in developing another Skate game, but that didn't stop fans from demanding it. Over the course of the next ten years, fans would constantly speculate when Skate 4 was going to be announced. Every single E3 from that point on would always have fans speculating as to whether or not this would be the year that EA finally announces Skate 4.

This would continue for years. Fans would constantly ask if Skate 4 would be announced and were always let down. There would always be something that sparked further fan speculation as well, such as the renewal of the company's trademark over Skate. Though, still, there was never anything concrete that fans could latch onto.

For the longest time, it felt like Skate 4 was never going to be made. It seemed nearly hopeless, yet fans continued to ask over and over again, until finally, Skate 4 was announced at the recent EA Play 2020 livestream and fans and developers alike could not be happier. After ten years of waiting, Skate was finally returning.

As more information begins to surface around Skate 4, such as its continued inclusion of community features found in Skate 3, fans could not be more thrilled. After ten long years of asking when this game will release, the fact that it's finally here is truly amazing. This makes Skate 4 the most highly demanded EA title within the last ten years.

Skate 4 does not have a current release date scheduled.
