Proudly proclaiming "Let the investigation begin!", followers were treated to an intriguing gif of a happy Sim surrounded by what appears to be floating, green ghosts. The ambiance appears to not be overly threating and still in line with the game's overall playful and accessible art style. The gif also teases that interested fans wont have to wait long, as it promises that "All will be revealed" on January 12th, less than a week away.

Releasing in North America on September 2nd, 2014, The Sims 4 has attracted over 30 million players during its continuing and enduring lifespan.
