It's been a few months since the last major expansion came to The Sims 4. However, there's plenty more in The Sims 4's near future, according to EA Senior Producer Michael Duke.

The Sims typically receives three different kind of 'packs' that serve as additions to the game. The last major expansion was Discover University, though it's since received a new Stuff Pack as well in the form of Tiny Living Stuff.

Now, Michael Duke is promising a new Sims 4 expansion pack, stuff pack, and game pack all within the next six months. Fans were apparently regularly asking about when they could expect more content for the game, and now the answer is out.

Unfortunately, Duke had nothing significant to share regarding what these packs will contain, as the company is remaining tight-lipped for now. He did, however, tease that the upcoming expansion pack's theme would likely be a surprise to many. The expansion pack is slated to release first, followed by the stuff pack and finally the game pack. But for now, players can only speculate on what they will do or add. Duke noted that the team was working on some ways to 'Stay Home and Play Together' but quickly dashed hopes of Sims multiplayer being a part of it.

Thankfully, there's tons of existing content for players to enjoy in the meantime. Sims 4 is already eight expansion and game packs in, with a whopping 16 stuff packs as well. Between those and the creative Sims 4 mods that are constantly being produced, fans should be able to hold on for the next six months.

The Sims 4 is out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
