The Sims 4 is introducing two new DLC kits that will add a number of pastel-colored 60s aesthetic items to the game and a bunch of new clutter-like decorations to make a home feel cozy. Sims 4 players won't have to wait long to add these two new kits to their games, and at an affordable price.

The Sims 4 has seen dozens of DLC releases over the years since its launch, ranging from the smallest content kits to The Sims 4's full-fledged expansions. Every release gives players new options, adding new clothes, decor, or complete game overhauls that add new professions and activities to keep Sims busy.

These two Sims 4 kits are set to release on November 10, titled Pastel Pop Kit and Everyday Clutter Kit. Players will be able to purchase them for $5 USD each, making them an affordable way to add a bit of new decor to the game. The Pastel Pop Kit is being made in association with a popular Sims content creator, Jesse "Plumbella" McNamara. The included decor not only sticks to a pastel color scheme but also has a 1960s retro aesthetic with "groovy shapes." The Everyday Clutter Kit, on the other hand, is designed to mimic the sort of intentional clutter that real homes have, like piles of paper, books, and stacks of dishes or mugs that won't send cleanliness-focused Sims into a fit.

While fans are still excited for new content coming to The Sims 4, the next entry to the series is well into development at this point. In fact, a build of The Sims 5 leaked onto the internet not too long ago, which while unfortunate for the developers, shows just how much people are looking forward to the next game. That said, EA has made it clear that The Sims 5 is still a long way off, so the leaked build likely won't bear a strong resemblance to the finished product.

The Sims 4 brought a lot of innovation and new functionality to the series, but it's been out for nearly a decade now. Players are likely ready and eager to see what the next complete overhaul to the game experience, in the form of the sequel, will bring to the franchise. With The Sims 4 going free-to-play recently, chances are even more gamers will become fans leading up to The Sims 5. In the meanwhile, there's still plenty of time to perfect one's homes and Sims in The Sims 4 with the title's latest DLC kits.

The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
